  1. Hi Evanna,
No, we don’t have any specific established programs. Our organisation generally provides support to individual cases (either single persons or families) on a case-by-case basis. If you are seeking such support, I suggest that send an email with as much information as you can (we recognise that there is often sensitive information that can’t be shared publicly) to our email address at actrefugee@gmail.com, and one of our support team will get back to you.

    Regards,

  2. Now I understand – apologies for my confusion! My answer above still applies – we don’t ourselves run any programs that might meet your requirement, but we do consider any requests from individual refugees or asylum seekers who might ask for support. Should you come to Canberra (or already be here) you ‘d be welcome to join our organization – we are all volunteers as you’ll have noted from other places in the website.

  3. HI Rocio, CRS is a totally volunteer organization: we have no paid or full time staff: we put together teams as required to assist asylum seekers or refugees who come to us. You would certainly be welcome as a member, but this would not provide you with direct work, although the experience would be valuable. You could try Companion House, who do have full time staff, but I can’t even guess what their staffing levels are like. Good luck. David
